Purchasing Controller / IT Project Manager

You will join the Supply Chain department to contribute to the purchasing control activity by leading a transversal project aiming at improving our knowledge about "what we buy". Halfway between Supply Chain / Purchasing and IT, this project is considered as a strategic one: 190 million euros are at stake.

Project management: improve the reliability and coverage over our purchasing data. This will be done through the development / implementation of a Business Intelligence tool. Identification of synergies between plants: by finding out what are the common purchases between our plants, this will enable to spot where we could launch some common negotiation actions

In addition to this key project, the purchasing controller will be also involved in:
The definition of our "golden rules" for purchasing
The definition of our Key Performance Indicators

Profil recherché

Business or Engineering Schools Graduate with a master in Finance
Good interpersonal and communication skills (regular contact with industrial controllers, sales people, customer services)
Autonomous with analytical mind
Advanced level of Excel and Powerpoint
Interest for IT tools
Fluent English (working language)
Ideally with first experience in industrial sector abroad
